Sala y cocina de una casa de campo en Tequisquiapan, con detalles de talavera y vista al jardín y la alberca.

Tequisquiapan, Querétaro

Your country house barely gets used.
And it could be earning.

Evaluate my property

Initial assessment for houses with potential in Tequisquiapan.

Every month it sits idle is money slipping away. We prepare it, operate it, and put it to work in Tequisquiapan — without you managing guests, cleaning, or pricing.

You block your own dates. We make the house work while you're away.

The dilemma

An empty house costs money.
A fixed lease takes it away.

You barely use it, but the upkeep never stops. Renting it year-round would mean losing it. Between those two bad options, your house's potential stays asleep.

It's not only about earning more. It's about not losing your house to make it profitable.

The shift

Produce by the night.
Don't hand it over for years.

Traditional lease

  • Fixed income, low ceiling
  • Contract of months or years
  • The house stops being yours
  • High season wasted
  • Wear that shows up late

Refugio Rentable

  • Income by the night
  • Flexible calendar
  • You block dates for yourself
  • High season well used
  • Coordinated maintenance

A traditional lease charges for occupying your house. A well-run vacation rental charges for making it desirable.

How we do it

It's not listing it on Airbnb.
It's running it as a stay.

A beautiful house doesn't rent itself. Behind every booking there's design judgment, live pricing, and an operation that never stops. We bring it all together in four stages.

01

Assessment

We evaluate whether your house can compete and what it needs to. First we diagnose, then we invest.

02

Setup

Linens, hospitality details, styling, and professional photography. Just enough to book better, with no wasted spend.

03

Launch

Listing, seasonal pricing, and house rules to attract families and groups. No parties.

04

Operation

Guests, cleaning, garden, pool, suppliers, and maintenance. Every day, without you touching your phone.

All inside the monthly operation

Design to be liked. Strategy to be booked. Operation to be sustained.

Why us

We see an experience where others see a listing.

Refugio Rentable comes from architecture. We don't manage listings: we prepare houses so families want to book them, pay for the experience, and come back. That judgment is what raises the price and lowers the risk.

Trust

We don't ask you
to trust blindly.

Booking income arrives directly to you. At the close of each month we send everything documented: what the house earned, what was spent, and what fees apply.

Bookings

Who booked, how many nights, and how much they paid.

Expenses

Every purchase, cleaning, and supplier, with its receipt.

Summary

Income, expenses, fees, and the month's balance.

Receipts

A drive with photos of every ticket.

The money goes straight to you. We carry the operation.

Your house

Stays yours.
It's just run on a calendar.

Unlike a traditional lease, you don't hand it over for years. You block dates in advance and come back whenever you want. That said: the more dates you block, the lower the income potential. That's why the calendar is managed with strategy.

You earn when it's booked. You enjoy it when you return.

Owners

I had a country house I barely visited anymore — just sitting there. Now that same house pays for my vacations every year, wherever I want to go. I couldn't be happier, and the best part is I don't have to deal with anything.

One of the best vacation houses out there — spacious, very well equipped, cared for, and tidy.

Luis Arturo · Airbnb guest

Everything was very clean, the place is lovely, he responds fast and had a wonderful touch for our arrival with a happy birthday sign and a cake for the birthday girl. Always attentive to our questions.

The filter

Not every house qualifies.
The ones that do compete very well.

We look for country houses with real potential and owners willing to prepare them properly. If yours isn't ready — or doesn't need us — we'll tell you.

We don't list just any house. We prepare the ones that can become desirable.

What we look for

  • Visual potential for photography
  • Willingness to do the setup

Honest questions, clear answers.

How much can I earn?

It depends on the house, the season, and the calendar. In low season, a well-run house can approach or beat a traditional lease. In high season, the potential changes completely. We don't promise figures: we project based on your property.

Can I still use my house?

Yes. It's not handed over for years. You block dates in advance and come back whenever you want. The more dates you block, the lower the income potential, which is why the calendar is managed with strategy.

What do you charge?

25% of what the property generates, after platform fees. Income arrives directly to you; at month's end we send the summary for fee payment and expense reimbursement.

Do I need to invest in the house?

Almost always something, but it varies a lot. Some houses only need linens and photos; others need styling or repairs. That's why we start with an assessment, before spending anything.

What if the house gets damaged?

We don't promise zero risk, but the protection is real. Platforms like Airbnb include AirCover: up to $3 million USD in Host damage protection, plus $1 million in liability. On top of that: clear rules, no parties, a house oriented toward families, supervision and maintenance, all documented.

Do you allow pets or parties?

No parties. No pets, except service animals as required by law. Each house operates with clear rules based on its capacity and context.

Your house isn't given up. It's put to work.

See if your house
has potential.

Tell us where it is, what amenities it has, and what's holding you back today. With that we'll tell you whether it makes sense to move to an assessment.

We work mainly with country houses in Tequisquiapan with amenities and capacity for families or groups.
